Problem with Kolibri Studio

Operating System (e.g. Windows, MacOS, Linux):

Browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari):

Channel (Name of the channel you were working on):

Description of problem:

I’m having a problem with our Kolibri Studio account. The channels we’ve created are showing a red warning that they’re incomplete and can’t be published. If we want to update the channels, it warns us that the ones that weren’t published will be deleted due to that error. To remove the error, we have to go to each activity and press finish. The error will disappear. However, there are too many activities. Could you please help us with that detail? The account in question is (deleted by admin for privacy reasons), and the channel with the error is MINISTRY OF EDUCATION.
Attached is a photo.
P.S. We’ve had this channel complete since its creation, so what it shows in all its folders is an error.

Hello @Cardrums_Ruiz , thank you for reporting the issue you are facing. Someone from our support staff will be taking a look shortly.

Remember not to post emails or channel tokens in public forum posts, but share them privately in a direct message (DM) when we reply. Thank you!

Hi @Cardrums_Ruiz,

I’ve checked your channel and re-run the validation on the ‘incomplete’ content, which was causing the warnings.

It appears all of those were indeed complete, and so the warnings were invalid.

In order for you to see the result of the reset validation, you’ll need to sign out of your Studio account and sign back in. After that, you should see no errors or warnings on the channel and you will be able to publish it.

Regards,
Blaine

Excellent, I just checked and everything is perfect, thanks for your help. I also have another question: is there a way to back up our channel, for example, export/import like on the Kolibri server?

Hi @Cardrums_Ruiz,

It’s best to open a separate forum inquiry for new questions. That said, there is no backup mechanism on Studio. You can import/create copies of your channel content in a new channel, but those copies will reference the source channel and won’t be fully editable (like importing content from the Kolibri Content Library). You could also use a Kolibri instance to store/export a published backup of a channel, but this isn’t backwards compatible with Studio.
