Hi @Masomotele,

The steps here roughly outline this process: Provisioning many servers — Kolibri User Guide the Kolibri device needs the entire content folder with both storage and databases subfolders inside it.

If you are not following this full process, then the main Kolibri database is not updated when you just copy the subfolders, so one thing missing from the documentation above is that you will then need to run this command from the commandline once the copying is complete:
kolibri manage scanforcontent this will perform the full import of any resources and channels copied over.
