i have imported some of the content from my external drive into the kolibri and i can confirm that the content have been transferred to the kolibri content folder /Users/username/.kolibri/db.sqlite3, but the content are not displaying on the kolibri platform.
Happy to try and help! Can you confirm which version of Kolibri you are using? Thanks!
kolibri-v0.11.0
Hi @ife2nv
Could you please upload the log file /Users/username/.kolibri/kolibri.log
here. It will help us find out what might have gone wrong. Thank you!
Could you please send it to my email address lingyi@learningequality.org? Thanks!
Thank you so much for the video and log file!
From the log file, it looks like the files related to the content do not exist on the external drive Samsung_T5
.
For example,
ERROR 2018-12-20 10:11:42,989 importcontent An error occurred during content import: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/Volumes/Samsung_T5/KOLIBRI_DATA/content/storage/2/6/26c6d8816e36f3211ff8669bc5ef7cb8.mp4'
Did you export the content of the biology
folder you tried to import in the video into the external drive first?
One thing to note is that we currently have a limitation on local content import that the topic content (e.g. biology
folder in this case) shown in the import UI may not actually exist in the external drive. If you would like to find out whether or not the content exist on the external drive, you will need to click the topics in the import UI til the bottom level (e.g. a specific video file or exercise) to figure out.
