What is the difference between Kolibri Catalog and Kolibri Studio? {new to Kolibri!}

Operating System (e.g. Windows, MacOS, Linux): windows

Browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari): chrome

Channel (Name of the channel you were working on): n/a

Description of problem: We are newly exploring Kolibri. Our team stumbled upon this link to search for new content: https://kolibri-catalog-en.learningequality.org/en/learn/#/library. Others on the team were using Kolibri Studio: https://studio.learningequality.org/en/channels/#/public. Yet others on the team were exploring with the demo link. These different approaches sometimes yield different resources or numbers of resources, also depending on whether or not you are logged in.

What is the best way to approach this? Is the Kolibri Catalog an older / outdated version of Studio? I see that https://catalog.learningequality.org/ actually redirects to Studio, but we just want to make sure we are approaching this correctly.

Thank you so much!

Hi Reshma,
Thanks for your question on this and the confusion is understandable! The catalog is a full list of the content in the Kolibri Library, which lives in Studio. It can be accessed via catalog.learningequality.org or https://studio.learningequality.org/en/channels/#/my-channels.

The first link you shared, https://kolibri-catalog-en.learningequality.org/en/learn/#/library, displays most of the available English channels but not the complete list (as it needs to be updated). That page was intended to show just a sample of the content available in English viewable in Kolibri.

I hope this helps!

Thank you! This is helpful, and the correction on the English channels is noted!
Both of the first two links you shared (http://catalog.learningequality.org and https://studio.learningequality.org/en/channels/#/my-channels) actually redirect to the same place - https://studio.learningequality.org/en/channels/#/my-channels. So it seems like we should definitely just use that one! Thanks so much.
