Lockdown = true

I am trying to set up Kalite so that users have to login to view videos. I added:

LOCKDOWN = TRUE

to the /setting.py file

After saving the file and doing a computer restart I can not get Kalite to start. The Python program does not start.

When I remove

LOCKDOWN = TRUE
Kalite starts without any problem.

Would appreciate any clues on the how to make this work.

I am using Windows 10 and Kalite version 0.17.1

Hi @fhenson1

Your server.log will probably tell us more about possible errors and why it fails to start. Could you locate your .kalite folder and have a look? It’s somewhere in for instance C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\.kalite.
