Dear Kolibri community,
Are you (or planning to be) using Kolibri Studio to curate learning resources from the Kolibri Library? If so, we’d like to invite you to try out our upcoming new feature on Kolibri Studio!
What’s changing:
We’re adding an addition that provides automatic content recommendations from our Kolibri Library whenever you create folders and import from other channels. For example, if you were to start an import from channels in a folder called “Magnetism,” you’ll see a list of recommended materials from the Library related to that topic (see image below).
This new functionality is part of our ongoing collaboration with colleagues at UNHCR as we explore how AI/ML can support curriculum alignment.
What’s Involved:
As a beta tester, you would:
-
Get early access to the feature on your organization’s Studio account(s)
-
Use the search functionality to add content from the Kolibri Library to one of your in-progress channels during our testing window (October–December)
-
Join us for a 20-minute observation call while you try the feature
-
Complete a short feedback form in December
Your feedback will help make sure this new addition to Kolibri Studio really meets community needs. As a thank-you, we’d be glad to recognize you by name in our release blog post and newsletter (with your permission).
How to Sign Up:
If you’d like to sign up, we’ll ask for a few quick details about your timeline and testing environment, just to confirm it’s a good fit. In particular, we’re looking for testers who plan to import content from channels in the Kolibri Library, and for a diversity of languages across English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Swahili.
Fill out this short form to sign up as a tester
We’ll consider submission of the form to be confirmation of your interest, and will be in touch with next steps upon receipt.
