KA Lite won't start

I have downloaded the software and done the installation but I have never been able to get KA Lite started. When I try to start the server it seems to work, also it tells me that KA Lite is already running but nothing happens. I open Chrome (offline) and type Kahn Academy but nothing happens.

Does it run on Chrome??? How can I get it started???

KA Lite is available on a special address, http://localhost:8008

Please try accessing it there.

It “runs on Chrome” (and any other browser) because it’s essentially a server. So starting KA Lite, means starting a local application that behaves like a web server.

If you have any further problems, you have to inform us about your operating system, KA Lite version, and possibly try starting it from command line.
