The Elimu team ran the first-ever teacher training in Malindi for Kolibri. 24 teachers participated for a day-long training. They took to the new approach with enthusiasm and ease. They are practicing over the holidays and will start working with Kolibri in their classrooms in September. We were pleased to welcome friends from Africa Maths Initiative who also deliver Kolibri through their programs in Kisumu. They joined us to help facilitate the training.
