Upgrading KA Lite version from 0.12.0 to 0.17.4

Hi, I have a KA Lite server running version 0.12.0, and as the laptop does not connect to the internet, was unable to upgrade to the later versions.

I need to now upgrade to the latest version but afraid that I may lose the information stored in the database in the process

how can I upgrade to the latest version without any issues?

Hi Rajesh,

I recommend that you download version 0.17.4 onto a flash drive in an area with internet and then bring the flash drive to the laptop that currently has 0.12.0. When you load 0.17.4 onto the laptop and upgrade the existing version, it should retain all information that’s been stored in the database.
