Updating Content in Channel Created Through Ricecooker

Hello,

I have a channel that I created through a ricecooker script. I now want to update (add/remove files) the existing channel. What is the workflow of doing that?

In one of the topics, it says:

Channels created using Ricecooker can be updated by simply re-running their script. Any files that have already been uploaded won’t get re-uploaded on subsequent runs.

But when I re-run the sushichef script, it basically creates the channel every time I run the program. What I want is to get access to the already existing channel, iterate through its contents, and then update (add/remove) stuff.
