Suggestions for GSoC 2025 and a query regarding the Slack group, as no one has replied to my email

I’m Krishna Seth from India, a Computer Science student eager to contribute to Learning Equality’s open-source projects (Kolibri, Studio, and KDS) as I prepare for GSoC 2025.

As advised, I would like to request access to the dev-community Slack channel to connect with other contributors and actively engage in the development process. Please let me know if any additional steps or information are required to facilitate this.

I previously sent an email to gsoc@learningequality.org, but I haven’t received a response yet. I understand you might be busy, but I would really appreciate any guidance or next steps on how to get involved.

I am committed to proving my abilities and readiness for GSoC with Learning Equality. If there are any assignments or tasks I should complete to strengthen my application, I am more than willing to do so. I am already participating in the Kolibri repository and actively responding to issues.

Looking forward to your response!

You are invited to Slack @krishnoit :slightly_smiling_face:

hello can i get a slack invitation please (mailto:namdevlalit997@gmail.com)

hello how can i join #gsoc-2025 Slack channel!

Hi @RadinaMatic

I’m Anmol Jain , a 2024 CSE graduate . While exploring GSOC 2025 organizations, I discovered Learning Equality and was instantly inspired by Kolibri’s mission to democratize education. Some of the Ideas in the Ideas list intrigued me and I am already drafting proposals for those.

I recently sent an email to gsoc@learningequality.org and info@learningequality.org for the slack channel invite but I haven’t received a response yet.

Could you please share the Slack invite. I’d love to collaborate, iterate on ideas, and dive into the codebase!

I am actively Exploring the Kolibri, Studio, and KDS repos to understand workflows will start to respond to unassigned “help wanted” issues .

Looking forward to your response and sorry for the trouble .
