I Need Advice on Using Kolibri in a Low-Bandwidth Rural School

Hey guys…

I am a teacher at a rural school where internet connectivity is very limited. We recently got introduced to Kolibri as a solution to provide our students with quality digital content despite our bandwidth constraints. While I’m excited about the potential of this platform, I am also facing a few challenges and could use some advice.

  • Given our limited internet access, what’s the best way to manage content updates and synchronization between the central server and learner devices? Are there any best practices for ensuring that students always have the latest resources?

  • We have a mix of older laptops and tablets. I’m concerned about compatibility and performance issues. Has anyone had experience running Kolibri on older hardware? Any tips on optimizing performance?

  • Since most of our usage will be offline, what are the key features or resources that we should prioritize to ensure students get the most out of Kolibri without internet access?

I also check this: https://community.learningequality.org/t/add-material-using-kolibri-studio-and-i-need-use-my-organizationloservicenow But I have not found any solution. Could anyone guide me about this?

Your help will be grateful for me.

Thanks in advance!
