Adding HTML5 to a Channel

Operating System (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux): macOS

Browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari): Safari

Channel (Name of the channel you were working on): Recursos FEE

Description of problem:

Hello!

I am trying to add an HTML5 zip to my channel. I have produced a lesson using Articulate Rise. The zip has an index.html file, and I can upload it successfully to the studio. Nonetheless, browsing the channel inside Kolibri, the file doesn’t work.

Hi @anruiz93,

When you run the file in Kolibri, are there any errors on the Developer console? (this can be opened by pressing F12 in most browsers, or by going to the menu and selecting Developer Tools -> Javascript console).

Any screenshots of the HTML5 zip in action if they might be relevant would also be helpful to diagnose this!

Kind Regards,
Richard

@anruiz93 when you preview the uploaded html5 zip in Kolibri Studio do you get a 500 server error?

If so, this could be the result of the utility used to zip the file. I have noticed that issue with 7-zip on Windows machines.
