Unable to SSO into Kolibri

Hello,

We’re unable to SSO into Kolibri - we’re getting a 502 Bad Gateway error.
In our logging, it’s showing that Kolibri failed to log in.
Do you know if anything changed with URLs, etc with Kolibri?
Thanks!

Hi Rachel,

I assume this change has happened after upgrading Kolibri? Do you know what the version was before and after?

Kind Regards,

Richard

Hi Richard,

As far as I know, we didn’t update - but I’m asking around to see if we did and Support wasn’t notified.

Do we need to update??

What version did we need to be on?

Thanks!
Rachel

Hi Rachel,

I assumed there must have been a change of some sort if you thought that something had changed in Kolibri to break your SSO integration.

If you have not upgraded, I don’t quite know what would have changed to cause an issue. If you are at all able to share the section of the logs that your team have used to determine that the authentication is failing on the Kolibri side, that would be helpful to diagnose further.

Just to confirm, you are using this plugin GitHub - learningequality/kolibri-oidc-client-plugin · GitHub to allow users to login via SSO, right?

Kind Regards,

Richard

Hi Richard,

A member of our product team restarted Kolibri on our end and SSO is working now.

Thanks for jumping in and helping, we appreciate it!

Thanks,
Rachel

Hi Rachel,

Glad to hear it’s resolved, and that the oldest trick in the IT support book still works!

Kind Regards,

Richard
