I want to use Custom meta data as follows:
- Label practice questions (multiple choice for example) for a particular subject into Easy, Medium, Hard categories.
- When a student downloads practice questions, the system will extract one third from the Easy, one third from Medium and one third from Hard category; and also randomize the extraction.
Any suggestions on how I can achieve this..?

Unfortunately, we don’t currently have a way to achieve what you’re describing in Kolibri.
A possible workaround would be to use sections on the quiz creation page. You can create a quiz with three sections; you could designate each section as easy, medium, or hard, and select the questions for each section.
However, questions are assigned per quiz, not per student. So, if you choose 10 questions for a section, all students will always see those 10 questions, although you can configure the quiz to display the questions in a random order for each student.
