Could not find a writable drive connected to the server

I just resolved this issue myself! I don’t know what type of computer you are using for your Kolibri server. I’m using a Raspberry Pi 400. There are instructions in the documentation that show how to resolve this issue. Here is the permalink to them:

https://kolibri.readthedocs.io/en/latest/manage/get_support.html#problems-with-import-and-export-from-usb-drives

Hope that helps you!

Thanks Chris,am running an Ubuntu 20 LTS,am accessing the server ssh and ftp

I believe, then, that those instructions will help you. Also, there’s another more specific topic for Debian installs, but probably also applies to Ubuntu.

https://kolibri.readthedocs.io/en/latest/install/ubuntu-debian.html#changing-the-owner-of-kolibri-system-service

On my RPi, I had a the Kolibri system from a previous installation in the /var directory. I moved it following the above directions to the home directory and then changed the ownership, again as the instructions indicate. That solved my problem on two different systems.
