Add New KhanAcademy courses for PH students

Operating System (Windows)

Browser (Chrome)

Channel (KhanAcademy)

Description of problem: Good day to everyone. I have discovered the awesome use of Kolibri to share content with learners offline with low barrier to entry. I have just recently discovered that Khan Academy uses Kolibri as a partner for “offline” use of Khan Content. I have already downloaded the English course US curriculum but I would like to use the content specifically curated for PH students and teachers.

My question is: How can I download new Khan Content into Kolibri and are we allowed to do so?

Context: KA recently offered new content specifically for Philippines to help in the PISA exam and to teach our curriculum. However, as good as the intention is, problems of internet connectivity still persists in the Ph especially in rural areas. I would like to share the KA content offline through Kolibri but I’m not sure where to start. A reply would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Hi @Prince_Jireh_Morales,

We’ve been alerted to this aligned curriculum, and it is in our backlog to process. It will be publicly available in the Kolibri library when it is processed.

Just to confirm, this is all English language content, just aligned to the Philippines Department of Education curriculum standards, is that right?

Kind Regards,
Richard
