# Updating Content in Channel Created Through Ricecooker

Hello,

I have a channel that I created through a **ricecooker** script. I now want to update (add/remove files) the existing channel. What is the workflow of doing that?

In one of the topics, it says:

But when I re-run the sushichef script, it basically **creates the channel every time** I run the program. What I want is to get access to the already existing channel, iterate through its contents, and then update (add/remove) stuff.
