# Suggestions for GSoC 2025 for new contributors

To start off, please send a request to join our dev-community slack channel by sending an email to [info@learningequality.org](mailto:info@learningequality.org) where you can begin to connect with other contributors. Also be sure to read our documentation that will guide you on how to begin your contribution journey in any of our open source repositories([Kolibri](https://github.com/learningequality/kolibri), [Studio](https://github.com/learningequality/studio), and [KDS](https://github.com/learningequality/kolibri-design-system)). Feel free to request assignment for any issues with the label “help wanted”.

Please note that we are currently closed for the year and may be slow to respond, but rest assured, we will get back to you when fully back in the next year. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
