# Channel Update Error

Good day I have been trying to update a channel yet bumping into this error for hours now, Please help. i need to update this for a competition quiz scheduled for tomorrow

- Kolibri version: 0.1.5.4
- Operating system: Linux Ubuntu
- Browser: Chrome

Hi @William_Motau

I have not seen that error you’re seeing in the console before. If you’re in a hurry, I would recommend using the terminal to handle the upgrade.

Please follow the instructions here: [Working with Kolibri from the command line — Kolibri User Guide](https://kolibri.readthedocs.io/en/latest/manage/command_line.html#import-channels-from-internet)

If you execute the two commands there, it will import the latest version of the channel, and then import all of the resources for that channel.

Note that for this work flow you need the 32 character letter and number Channel ID, not the Channel Token.
